Join us for a week of fun and learning the art of Fencing!
No previous experience required! This camp provides you with highly qualified coaches and equipment to help you or your child gain an understanding of fencing while keeping it fun.
Coach Brian Harper heads the program. As a two-time National Champion in Saber, he holds 28 National Medals, has competed on the World Veteran team representing the United States internationally and is currently a referee in matches at the highest levels of the sport. Coach Harper was also the State Director for the fencing events at the 2019 Sunshine State Games in June.
Coach Tyler Kvols-Riedler is an A-Rated fencer (that's the highest rating) who has been coaching for many years. His students learn his advanced skills and attention to detail as well as his emphasis on physical fitness.
This camp will take place on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday. The Academy will be closed on Thanksgiving Day. The cost of the camp is $50 per day or $35 per half day.
You can pay for your camp online by going to our Fencing Camp Page.
For those wanting to spend only half of the day, the morning session is 8am to 12pm and the afternoon session is 1pm to 5pm. For those attending all day, please make arrangements for lunch from noon to 1pm. Attendees are welcome to bring a lunch. Minors may be taken by parent or authorized adult during the lunch hour.
Members of the Academy's Tournament Team will also be on hand to assist the coaches during the camp. We are very fortunate to have this highly qualified staff and we hope you take advantage of this opportunity for learning and fun.
